As an intern, I joined a cycle of creative briefing. The social strategists would mine for trends on Twitter and TikTok that could potentially be ownable to two client social pages. We’d help the creative team shape their content and ensure it was brand safe and trend aligned.
Copywriting
Despite sitting on the strategist side, the creative team allowed for me to attempt professional copywriting. I suggested potential edits, comment replies and tweet replies during creative meetings. One tweet I wrote for @GoogleMaps is reflected on the left.
Let’s Internet Better | Community Management
Let’s Internet Better was Google’s Summer 2022 media literacy campaign. I, along with another intern, handled all community management on TikTok advertisements. Daily checks of all advertisements and discernment of what comments maintained brand safety were the two main tasks. We suggested potential replies and scanned for the best brand approved ones.
